Have your account deleted.
This applies to the FloorPilot app and the FloorPilot web portal: one account for both. You can submit the request in the app or by e-mail.
In the app
- Open the FloorPilot app and sign in with the account you want deleted.
- Tap the menu at the top left and choose Account verwijderen (Delete account) under Beheer (Manage).
- Read what happens and tap Verzoek indienen (Submit request). You are then signed out on this device.
By e-mail
Send an e-mail to info@wearefloorpilot.com with the subject “Delete my account”. Send it from the address you sign in with, or mention that address and the organisation or municipality the account belongs to. If we are unsure the request comes from you, we will check with you first.
What happens next.
- A FloorPilot staff member handles your request. Nothing is deleted automatically.
- We handle your request within one month, as the GDPR requires, and confirm it by e-mail.
- First your access is revoked. Then your account is deleted.
- If work in a case file is still linked to your account, that work stays, but without your name and contact details.
- Deleted data also disappears from our backups no later than 35 days afterwards.
What is deleted and what is kept.
Deleted
- Your e-mail address, your sign-in links and the ability to sign in.
- Your profile: name, phone number and profile photo.
- Your second sign-in step and all your active sessions.
- Your access to the organisation or municipality you were a member of.
Kept
- Event files of an organisation. Reports, tasks and documents you added to an event belong to that organisation’s file. They stay as long as the file exists: by default twelve months after the event is closed, as described in our privacy policy.
- Municipal case files. What a municipality has recorded in its case file falls under that municipality’s archiving rules. FloorPilot does not delete that data itself. If you want it deleted, please contact the municipality.
- The change log. FloorPilot records who did what and when. We keep that log for seven years, only for accountability and security. During that time it is not changed or erased; after that it is deleted.
- Invoices and accounting records. We keep these for seven years, because the law requires it (tax retention obligation).
Do you work as crew with an event code?
Crew sign in with a code from the organiser and have no account of their own. Your name and your reports belong to the event and fall under that organisation’s file. Afmelden (Sign out) in the menu ends the session on your device. If you want your data deleted sooner, e-mail us at info@wearefloorpilot.com or ask the organiser.
